I’ve been a follower for a little while now and love receiving your newsletters in my inbox each week. I‘m not quite a queen aber yet but now look forward to it and feel so inspired by what you share. I’m 43 and back in school to finish my Bachelors degree which I abandoned in my early 20s when I became a mom. I can’t wait to see what my future holds!
Have you been in contact with Tricia Cusden who has set up Look Fabulous Forever, a make up brand specifically for older women? She and it are indeed fabulous! She set it up at 65, is now 73 and it’s thriving. She has branched into skincare and hair products. During the first lockdown she started “Tea at the Ritz” where every day at 4pm she would do something on zoom, often with guest speakers, which so many womens say they found a lifeline when they were stuck at home. I think she is truly inspirational!
Great article as usual. What dream panels! Eleanor just a small thing: I have noticed your use of the word "compadre" to denote comrade/colleague/ally. A more appropriate word would be "comadre" used in Northern Spain to denote comradery amongst females, which is exactly the concept which you are trying to spread amongst us. Hope this is not too pedantic!
Another wonderfully inspiring article - thank you for everything you’re doing.
Thanks Jess - Groucho was quite a moment!

Love Comadre - will use from now on! And I love a bit of pedantry on word use, subject V close to my heart
