We'd love to hear from you what you would like to hear about in this Beauty email - what issues have you got? I'm a real beauty ignoramus, but an afternoon with Beatrice means that when i have to wear proper slap for EG TV or being photographed or a big do, I actually know how to do it now. And although most of my life I have never worn much make-up these days a little bit of the right stuff makes a big difference. So tell us what you need/like/hate Eleanor

My eyes have become very hooded and the lids really crepey. 😩 I can’t get to grips with my eye makeup anymore (I used to love a good eyeliner flick). Any suggestions Beatrice could make about how to change your makeup to reflect your changing face/skin would be amazing. 👌🏽

Thanks so much Lee! Yes absolutely there are things you can do I will write about it. It’s great question - tattooing is a difficult one as fashions like with hair and makeup changes - think 70s extra thin brows. I will come back to you! Thank you again

Thank you for this post, Beatrice and really pleased that you are doing the Beauty Role. Rosacea. I had this for 10 - 15 years. Not terrible but lowering. And I spent a small fortune on products and dermatologist, so am writing this in the hope it may save others going through the same thing. Some things I learned. 1. Sun is a trigger so wearing a large brimmed hat and using a good SPF50 (La Roche Posay/Avene) helps. 2. Having a very simple skincare routine really helps. I read an article by Rosie? Thomas in Red years ago and followed her advice about the Avene cleanser, and I still use that. Really important to avoid anything that will stress the skin mantle, such as exfoliation and too many products Inc foundation which you turn to in order to cover up the redness. I use Giorgio Armani but the point is to find something your skin can tolerate. 3. For me the thing that finally turned things around was going to my GP. He prescribed finacea and that was what made a difference. My skin is now fine. Regrettably, rosacea does seem to be hormone related so as your hormones settle down, so does your skin. Hope this helps.

Hi Beatrice,

That was a great first article on Rosacea, thank you, something I suffer from, so very helpful.

I would like some help with lashes and brows. I used to have great eyelashes, but no more, unfortunately, anything that will help here ?

Also, and maybe if more help would be the best way to re define eyebrows ?

I occasionally get mine dyed, to cover the grey, which looks good for a week or two, but I really don’t want to be spending that amount of time and money on them.

I did see something recently about someone having theirs tattooed; that a big move …… do you have anything in that ?

I’m looking forward to future articles.

Thank you.

Thanks Beatrice. Really useful and entertaining. Much better than flicking through glossy mags promoting products you don’t need and can’t afford! Noon does the hard work for you. Genius!

Interesting about the rosalique - they advertise so heavily on Instagram that I've been ignoring them out of spite.

Weirdly Beatrice sent me some and I tried it this morning. it is extremely alarmingly green - Incredible Hulk Green - when it comes out of the tube but it doesn't make your face green and the SPF in it seems great, swam in the pond this morning and am not red and it hasn't made my super sensitive skin bumpy... so I'd say so far so good! xxx
