I’m livid about this too. And per usual where are the men?!?! Where are men sticking up for her & the team saying it’s disgusting & unacceptable. Where’s Prince William saying that?! Useless!!!

Great article. Thank you for writing it. The statistics are, as always, depressing and can feel exhausting but not impossible to change. Little by little we are moving forward.

This is a wonderful, incisive article, tackling parts of the story and its backdrop that have been missed by much of the mainstream media. Thank you! On another note, I have a question: I have been considering becoming a subscriber but I wonder if, at 71, I can be considered a Queenager. Towards the end of the article I had a bit of knee jerk reaction to the description of someone as an 'old, wise feminist.' Which was to do with my own struggles, not a judgement of you. It was only in my mid sixties that I suddenly realized others were seeing me as old. I'm childfree and this, as well as my lifestyle and work, helped me to disregard the passing of years. Now...well, I can't do that any longer. I'd like to think I could join this community (I hugely enjoy and appreciate your newsletters) but would I feel like an outlier? Just...too old?
