How can Queenagers be behind 90% of household spending decisions? I don’t see how this can be right because: (1) If the average age to have a child is now 31 or 32, this would suggest significantly more than 10% family households without a Queenager in them, and (2) the median age of the UK population is 41 (2022), again pointing to a significant proportion of adults below 45 or 50.

Actually I just checked the post and it does say Household - it's because as Queenagers we are influencing the spending decisions of ourselves, ourpartners, our kids if we have them, our parents - and grandchildren. We are such a crucial pivot and influence in all of this

Thanks for the comment - my bad - queenagers are behind over 90% of all HOUSEHOLD consumer spending decisions. I missed out the word HOUsEHOLD and have now corrected that - this is the citation. "Forbes has indeed recognized that women over 50 are super consumers. With over $15 trillion in purchasing power, they are the healthiest, wealthiest, and most active generation in history1. These women account for 27% of all consumer spending, which is 3% more than men of the same age group1. Their influence extends to 95% of household purchasing decisions and 80% of luxury travel purchases for partners, parents, and even grown children2
