I read each experience with interest and identified with several. I’m only 45 but recently went through chemical menopause due to cancer, which led to loss of a job and a breakdown. As a result I’ve taken time out of work for more than three months to try and piece my old self back together - and although I have to go back now (y’know, money) - I’m looking for part time instead of full time, finally recognising and giving myself credit for all the ‘everything’ I’ve been doing for the last two decades alongside working full time and having children.
