Sick of your wardrobe? Come to our Clothes Swapping event for Earth Day
Free for Paid Subscribers to The Queenager
Dear Queenagers,
I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend. Wanted to lodge a couple of dates in your diaries.
Clothes Swapping for Earth Day: bring along something nice that you no longer wear and swap it with something from a fellow Queenager at the swanky Rosewood Hotel in London on April 26th from 6.30-8.30pm. There will be drinks and nibbles and me, Eleanor Mills in conversation with Tiffanie Darke (on the Noon Advisory Board, Queen fashionista who now campaigns for sustainability in that industry). She’ll tell her own story of how after thirty years pushing us all to buy more stuff (as Editor of Sunday Times Style and Head of Content at Harrods) she realised that if we are going to stop climate change we all need to consume less. This is her article about her own Queenager moment of conversion on Noon and how she has learnt to change her shopping habits by re-using, upcycling old buys, cunning use of charity shop bargains and only buying five new things a year. You can check out more of her writing here on substack . Tiffanie is a dear friend of mine and Noon, she helped me set it up in the early days, we are really grateful to the Rosewood for the opportunity to host there. It should be a very special night and a meaningful way to celebrate Earth Day.
This evening is FREE to Paid Subscribers of the Queenager -
