Dear Queenagers

Well I woke up this morning to quite the shock - a mega serialisation of my book Much More to Come: Lessons on the mayhem and magnificence of midlife… in the Daily Mail. You lovely Queenagers can order the book for half price from waterstones.com if you use the code Muchmore50… and I promise that the vast majority of it is really NOT about weight. When I talk about being ‘Stout’ - I mean it in a very specific way, it is a concept I explore in the book about feeling whole and grounded and allowed to take up space in the world, something we women are always told we shouldn’t. I love the sense of being a Queenager and owning who and what I am and believing that I am enough. Just as I am! That is a revelation. The journey to finding that state, getting through all the lack and heartbreak I used to feel, is the story of becoming which is at the heart of the book.

In other, exciting, news - I’ve discovered that Rebecca who is hosting our NOON Walk this weekend in Warwickshire at her gorgeous farm, has a FIVE ACRE lake which we can all swim in! So it’s not just a NOON Walk it’s a NOON swim and you know how much I love one of those… and they’ll still be cake and a reading from the book and a NOON Circle too. If you’d like to come there are still some places, it’s just outside Warwick between Junction 11 and 12 on the M40 in a village called Southam in Warwickshire. The closest village is Ladbroke village on the A423 if you want to have a look to see if you can get there.
